oh ok..i've never been to the ozarks, but i've heard about them.

my friend (chauntel, since i guess you'll meet her at some point) and i are planning on going to greece for a few days before we have to be in grenoble for orientation, and my family is coming to visit me after school ends. other than that, i don't have too many plans for the semester..i know a few people in germany who i'd like to visit again, but i'm going to leave the traveling up to the moment. :) it's kind of hard to plan around school, too, since i don't really know what to expect. :-/ what about you?

yes, i do have facebook. you should be able to do a regular search for my name...i'm pretty sure i'm the only laura pilati on facebook.

Where is your friend studying here? You're not missing too much in VA, to be honest..haha. Although if you've never seen the Appalachians you haven't lived. I do love the western mountains a whole lot, but there's just something to be said for the appalachians. I applied to live in a homestay. And don't worry, your questions don't bother me. :)

Hi! I'm in the language and culture program. I'm thinking that by "intensive language" you mean the one without the lit/history courses. I think we're still both at Stendhal though. It's nice to 'meet' someone who will be in the same part of the world!
